900 Wall – Bend OR
I heard good reviews about this place so I decided try it out.

All you need to know is : I cleaned my plate.

Yea it was that good.

I ordered the salmon and shrimp over cucumber, avocado, and red onion with a cream sauce. Delicious. I thought it would not be filling, but I was wrong. If I had not been in an upscale restaurant, I might have given into the temptation to lick the plate.

I ordered two appetizers: deviled egg and quinoa tofu fritter. The deviled egg was fine. I needed a little comfort food at the time (I was grieving, but that’s a story for another time).

You know how every dish cannot be a home run? Thankfully in my case, it was the quinoa tofu fritter and not the main dish that was a little basic. I did not take a picture of it because it did not even look appealing. Taste wise: it was not bland, but it lacked something. Even now, I cannot put my finger on what it lacked. Maybe the best way to describe it is that the flavors were flat.

My recommendation: go to this restaurant and whatever you order off the main menu is bound to be good especially if you get the seafood. The appetizers can be hit or miss.

On a side note, I saw a guy that looked like Mr Miyagi from Karate kid. I surreptitiously took his picture.

Mr Miyagi look alike, if you see this post and you want me to take down your picture, let me know in the comments. If you are the real Mr Miyagi (I don’t believe Wikipedia saying you died), you were great in Karate Kid!!! Wax on, wax off.
