A couple weeks ago, Paperless Post asked me to try their service and review my experience.

Try It Tuesday: Cat Toys #cats #catsoftwitter #toys

Blaze is my kitty baby. Keeping it real as a cat mom, he is spoiled.

I buy him lots of toys. Honestly, I don’t know why because he seems to have more fun with the box instead of the actual toy. Still, I persist. I guess I am trying to figure out which toy might be that unicorn of cat toys that he will actually play with and not get tired of it.

Here are some of my latest purchases:

Kitty Flicks (by Kitty Boinks ) – flexible braided nylon that you flick across the room
TOW opinion: Blaze would not follow my hand to see where the flick would land. He looked at me with a bored expression and then walked off. In the opposite direction.

SmartyKat Interactive Cat Toys (by SmartyKat ) – launcher toy filled with catnip
TOW opinion: Blaze played with this for about 20 minutes one day and then would not play with it anymore. I am not sure what happened that turned him off to the toy.

Mouse Ball (by Petsport USA ) – catnip flavored ball with an easy drag tail
TOW opinion: Blaze liked this because of the tail. I guess this toy saved mice lives that day. It is not very sturdy. Blaze does not play with it anymore because it is in pieces now.

LED Motion Activated Cat Ball (by Ethical Pet ) – LED flash ball that is activated by touch
TOW opinion: Blaze would not play with it long enough to keep the LED activated.

TOW Final Word: The only toy that Blaze played with the most was the mouse ball. Because of the tail, he thought he was catching a real mouse.

This week I am talking about essential oil cases. This is a necessary item if you use essential oils and want to transport them.

TOW Opinion
I love this case because it is durable and the right size for me to carry my oils to classes. I mostly have 15ml bottles in there and they fit snugly. When I walk, the bottles are not jostling around.

I have a few larger bottles (30ml) that I keep in the back because I have to force them, but it is not an issue. Considering that the case is not for the bigger bottles, I knew that it was a possibility that they would not fit. It is a tight fit, but I am not stressing the seams.

I like the fact that the handle is on top so that when I carry the case, all bottles remain upright.

TOW Final word: BUY. The entire case is good quality and I highly recommend it.

Shea butter Conditioning Treatment + avocado and rosemary oils

I bought this because it is a conditioning deep treatment to help with dry, itchy scalp. It said that it can be used for all types of hair. My hair is relaxed. Many of the products to be used on itchy scalp sometimes will strip the relaxer.

It smells so good. On the package, they say something about not eating it. I thought they were being melodramatic until I opened it.

This. Is. The. Best Smelling Conditioner!

That is saying a lot because conditioners usually smell really good. I did not want to discard the container just so that I could smell it. I felt like I was addicted to the scent. It smells delicious. It is sweet, herbal, and fresh all in one.

Once I regained my focus as to the reason why opened the container in the first place, I applied the conditioner cream as the directions instructed. After leaving it on for the allotted time, I rinsed my hair. My hair was soft and manageable.

I tried other varieties of this brand, but I always come back to the Shea butter Conditioning Treatment + avocado and rosemary oils. I feel like this is the best one for me.

TOW Final Word: This is my new favorite conditioner. It is not an exaggeration when I say that I am totally in love with the smell. I wish I could find a lotion that smelled like this. I would lather myself in it all day, every day. It smells delicious!!! Totally recommend!

I have been remiss in regularly sharing my product reviews as part of my Try It TUESDAY meme. I hope to do better in 2017.

Harney & Sons Earl Grey Supreme

I am not usually an Earl Grey tea drinker, but it was so good that I had to share.

I cannot tell you what temperature I brew my tea but the water is close to boiling. I have a kettle that heats the water to boiling and then turns off. I doubt the water loses too much heat in the time it takes for me make my cup of tea.

They called this Earl Grey Supreme because it is a mix of for black teas, Silvertips, and Bergamot.
