Photo Blogging #Challenge April 2016 theme: #Vibrant #photoblog

April’s theme for the photo blogging challenge hosted by http://hoohaablog.com/ was VIBRANT. When I think vibrant, I think full of color. Thankfully, it’s spring time and all the plants are in full bloom. The true challenge this month was choosing which photos to use.

Picture 1

I played in a golf tournament and got to meet LPGA legend Nancy Lopez. She was gracious enough to take a selfie with me. I was wearing my vibrant pink golf shirt because it was so comfy. I got tips from a pro, but my golf game is not much better.

I planted kale in our garden. I love the vibrant green color. It grown enough over the last few weeks that I have started eating a little bit of it. Delish!

While on our anniversary trip (5years this April), I got a spa treatment. I loved colors of the creams and scrubs used. And they smelled as good as the looked too. At the end, I was throughly relaxed.

My amaryllis plants are in full bloom!

I participated in the Color Vibe 5k near where I live. The young lady in the pic with me is the daughter of my friend and I affectionately call her my mini me. We were showered in powder of various bright colors as we ran/jogged/walked the course. Definitely a fun way to exercise.

  1. I’m just catching up… way late on making the rounds! Anyway, I think you caught the vibrance part really well. And very cool meeting Nancy Lopez.

Also, FYI — the link you linked up with for April was the headline of the story and the link, so it didn’t lead here. I fixed it (though late), but something to watch for in future months! People might have clicked and weren’t able to get here!
