Truth Alan Reacher was a biker. He was a bladesmith. What he was not, was a fool.

The moment he walked in on his girl screwing his cousin on his bike, he does the only thing he can do.

He ditches the bike seat—and the girl—riding right out of her life without a backwards glance.

That is until he’s forced to attend the marriage of his cousin to his cheating ex-girlfriend. The only bright spot of the entire thing was watching some chick go off on the groom—the groom’s ex-fiancé—right in the middle of the bouquet toss.

***

Verity Ruthann Cassidy was supposed to be here today attending this wedding as the bride, not watching the festivities as a guest from the chairs she’d painstakingly purchased covers for while her fiancé—now her ex-fiancé—screwed around on her with another woman.

The icing on the wedding cake that she refuses to eat? She’s forced to attend the wedding due to her mother being the wedding planner.

However, the night doesn’t turn out quite the way she expects it due to the hot-as-hell biker sitting in the chair directly beside her. The man gave one hell of a speech during the reception that sounded like something that could have come straight out of her own mouth, and she enjoyed every single second of it.

***

Thrown together under similarly lousy circumstances, the two newly single jilted former lovers of the happy couple decide to go to Vegas on what was to be Verity’s honeymoon trip.

One thing leads to another, and the next thing they know, their night has gone from a celebration of being single to a marriage—to each other.

Verity and Truth now have to figure out if everything that happens in Vegas should stay in Vegas.

I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

Angie is a survivor. Anything you could throw at her, she could overcome.
After her father left her like a pile of unwanted trash, she began fighting. Fighting to build a life. Fighting to keep her child. Fighting to matter.

She thought she had it all figured out.

Then Bowen Race Tannenbaum walks into her life, turning it into a flurry of confusion, hope, and then ultimately despair. He tore down, brick-by-brick, her carefully constructed world, leaving her heart in tatters and longing for more. Such as a happily ever after, something that wasn’t ever going to happen for her. Not when she couldn’t give him what he wanted. He’d break her, and she couldn’t be put back together a second time.
Bowe wasn’t always so jaded, but when you keep drawing a losing hand, it tends to affect a man. He didn’t mean to lash out so carelessly. But he was so over being told no. He was done being lied to. He was through with being cheated on.

This time, his heart was getting what it wanted. If Angie wasn’t able to see what he was offering, what was right here in front of her, well then, he’d just have to damn well show her.

“What’s wrong with you?”  Booth asked, following me.
I turned my head only far enough so he could see my glare.
Obviously, though, the glare didn’t’ have the intended affect when he continued to walk into the room, parking his ass in the bunk straight across from mine.
Sure, the bunk was his, and I wasn’t the only one who shared this room, but I wasn’t up for any chatter. Especially after the night I’d had.
“You gonna make me guess?” He continued as if I wasn’t ignoring him.
“You’re a persistent bastard,” I grumbled, turning my head to face the wall.
“Come on, you know you want to talk to your best friend, Booth.”  He teased.
I tossed the man a look.
“You’re not my best friend.”  I told him.
He pouted, and I sighed, rolling until I was on my back, very carefully since it seemed the bed was about the same width as my back.
“I’ve completely and utterly failed in getting the woman I want to go out with me to even hold a conversation with me for longer than a minute.” I told him.  “I saw her last night—with another man—and I don’t know what to do to get her to see me.”
Booth’s mouth fell open.
“You’re shitting me.”
I shook my head, feeling heat hit my face as I did.
“No.”
“But…you’re the dream boat.  You’re the man that Masen tells me all the time is the hottest guy at the firehouse. You literally could have anyone that you wanted.  What’s the deal?”  He kicked his feet up so they were resting on the side of mine.
“Nothing to tell.  I’m just…awkward.”
“Awkward, how?”  He persisted.  “Awkward as in you can’t talk to a woman awkward, or awkward in which you accidentally whip your d**k out of your pants to break the ice instead of using your big boy words?”
I tossed him a look.  “She was shot…or something. I have the girl in the back of the ambulance with her shirt off and all I can do is stare at the scars on her abdomen. My staring kept me from asking her anything when I had the chance. Now that I’ve decided that she’s worth losing my favorite mechanic’s trust, I’ve done everything I could to speak with her, and she still ignores me.”
“Where does she work?”  He asked.
“The hospital and for her brother.  You know her.”  I cleared my throat. “It’s Angie.”
Booth stared at me for all of two seconds before he fell backwards to the cot.
“You’re doomed.”
I laughed, zero humor in my voice.
“Yeah, I know.”
The tones dropped indicating a call was coming through for us.
We both paused in our conversations, and I cursed when I heard what it was.
“Mother f***er.” I sighed.  “This has to be a f****ng joke.”
Booth’s face showed the way he felt about the call that had come in just like I was sure mine was as well.
“This is some f***ng cosmic joke, isn’t it?”  I asked.
“Sorry buddy.”
Hurrying to my feet, I jogged lightly to the bay where my turnout gear was located.
Despite this being a medical call, we were still required to put our gear on.
Which was why I was sweating my balls off when we finally arrived at Soco Garage, the very same garage that none other than Angie Soco also worked.

Aaron don’t ever call me Fatbaby’ Sims is lucky to be alive. Or at least that is what everyone keeps telling him. He doesn’t feel lucky, though.

He’s scarred, has more than a little bit of a bad attitude, and there isn’t a single day that goes by that he doesn’t wish his wife would’ve just finished off the job.

After being denied his old position at the fire department, he leaves, and doesn’t look back. He heads straight to Alabama and into the semi-welcoming arms of The Dixie Wardens MC. There he becomes a part of a brotherhood that forces him to get back in the land of the living.

Imogen is a smart girl. A girl who doesn’t always make the best decisions.

Her heart is in the right place when she walks into that prison, but it doesn’t take long for her to realize that her heart shouldn’t have had any say so in the matter. Especially when one wrong move lands her in the arms of a scarred man that looks frightening enough to scare any sane woman away.

Immediately enthralled by the angry man, she tries to get closer to him. But the harder she tries to get to know him, the further he pushes her away.

The only thing Aaron wanted to do after his now ex-wife was sent to jail was escape. Escape the awful memories. The pity-filled eyes. The curious glances.

He does a damn fine job at ensuring he draws as little as attention as possible, but then that annoying woman with her startling blue eyes starts hammering away at his resolve. Makes him feel when he doesn’t want to feel.

Imogen comes into his life and carves out a place for herself, obliterating his defenses one heated kiss at a time.

It doesn’t take long, and he realizes he’s in deep. Too deep to ever want to come out.

Imogen will know what it’s like to be loved by a reject.
“New guy.”  Someone muttered behind me.
I turned only my head to find Stone, the president, staring at me with hard eyes.
“Yeah?” I asked him, dropping my bag on the floor and heading in his direction instead of out the door like I’d originally intended.
“You’re here because you have a special set of skills that we need.”  The leader of the band of misfits, Stone, drawled.
I nearly laughed.
“That sounds like a bad line out of a movie.” I muttered, wondering where he was going with this.
He tossed me a glare and then yelled.
“Truth!”  Stone yelled.  “Ghost! Get the f**k in here!”
Ghost and Truth walked in the door at the same time, both of them turning to the side to walk inside, and stared at Stone
“Ghost, hold Truth down so New Guy can give him the f***in’ shot.” Stone grumbled.
Ghost tackled Truth and wrestled him to the desk, then sat on him while Stone leaned back and watched.
“No, motherf***er!” Truth yelled.  “I don’t want it!”
“It’s the f***in’ flu shot, you dumb shit.  Not a f***in’ tracking device. Take a f***in’ chill pill.”  Stone grumbled, staring at the scuffle that was going down in front of him.
I picked up the syringe from the table, similar to the one I’d given everybody else’s flu shot with, and stabbed it in the meat of Truth’s arm.
Truth bellowed in rage, and I flipped the guard up on the syringe before tossing it into the trash can.
“Done?” I asked Stone.  “I have to get to work.”
Stone nodded.
“Yeah, thanks.” He nodded. “Have fun at the nut house.”
I grunted something unintelligible, causing him to laugh.
“Don’t sound so excited.” He laughed.
I flipped him off and walked out the door just as Ghost was letting Truth up
“Why you gotta be such a big motherf***er?”  Truth growled.  “If you’d been anyone else, I’d have gotten away.”
“Why do you think I called Ghost instead of anyone else?”  I heard Stone reply.

I woke up to my lower half on fire.

At first, I thought it was just an aftereffect of my dreams, but when I finally peeled my eyes open, I could smell smoke.

When I opened my lids and looked down, it was to literally find my panties on fire.

I screamed and rolled; rolling so far in the bed that I hit the floor and kept going.

By the time the fire was finally out, my panties were burned to ash. However, my skin was perfectly fine. In fact, the hairs that I’d planned on having waxed later in the week were gone.

It’d given me a fire waxing…minus the wax.

“What the f***?” I yelled, staring down at my now hair-free mound.

Blasphemy.

My eyes widened and I looked around. Was someone in the room with me?

I started reaching for the lamp but couldn’t find it. There was a pile of things beside the bed that I’d knocked over in my haste to get up. I could only assume that the lamp was one of those things.

“Light, light, light,” I chanted, shifting through the things on the floor.

My candles that I had interspersed around the room all lit at once, and I screamed.

“What the hell is going on?” I shrieked.

Macy started hammering on the wall, or her boyfriend. Whatever. F*** her.

I narrowed my eyes at the wall.

That stupid heifer! I’m allowed to scream if I want to. She f*** day and night, and she’s going to bang on my wall to get me to quiet down?

Master Farrow has always had excellent stamina with the ladies.

I froze, turning around and scanning the room.

“Who’s there?” I asked nervously.

A deep, rumbly laugh filled my head and my eyes widened.

“Holy mother of God, get out of my head!” I yelled.

The voice in my head continued to chuckle. Oh, this is almost as good as when Prince Keifer came into his powers. He didn’t shriek like you do, though.

Title: Controlled Burn
Series: Kilgore Fire #4
Author: Lani Lynn Vale
Genre: Romantic Suspense
Release Date: October 5, 2016
Cover Model: Shane Williams
Photographer: Furious Fotog
July Dupree and Dean ‘PD’ Hargrove fell head over heels in love. When PD comes home to tell July the good news about joining the SWAT team as a tactical medic, everything changes.

July can’t fathom why PD would want to be a cop in this day and age. Wasn’t it enough that he already had a dangerous job with the fire department? Now he has to add another, even more dangerous, job to the equation? With so many cruel people in the world who make a sport out of hurting cops just because of the badge they wear, she has to make him understand. But when he refuses to listen to her reasoning, she feels she has no other choice but to issue an ultimatum: her or the SWAT team.

Dean doesn’t like ultimatums. He’s furious with July for putting him in the awful position of having to choose between a dream and her.

July never believes for a second that he’d choose the SWAT team over her, but she is wrong.

A year later, they’re both still in love with each other, but neither one is willing to budge regardless of their feelings.

July’s feelings for Dean haven’t changed, in fact her love for him has only grown. But seeing him living his life seemingly unaffected by the loss of what they had breaks her heart over and over each time she sees him.

Dean has a good poker face, though. He’s just going through the motions of his life until finally, the smoldering embers of his feelings erupt into a full-on blaze of emotion, burning through everything but his love for July. When the smoke clears, Dean wants to know if they can reignite the fire of their love or is he destined to live his life in a constant state of controlled burn?

“Go away,” I murmured tiredly. “I don’t want you here.”
Alexa stood in the doorway, her eyes on the two of us, completely blank.
I wanted to snarl at her, but I just didn’t have the energy to do so.
Maybe later, but right now, it was taking everything I had to keep my eyes open and speak to Dean.
I’d made it to the ER.
I’d been given fluids, had tests ran, and was now listening to the ER doc tell me and Dean that I had a serious infection that would likely require some antibiotics that would likely make me feel like shit for the next few days.
“She’ll need to be watched closely, otherwise we’ll need to admit her,” the doctor was explaining, completely ignoring the fact that I’d asked Dean to leave.
Though, that might be because Dean knew the damn man.
Then again, Dean knew nearly everyone in every hospital in the area.
So it wasn’t a surprise that he’d know my doctor, too. It also came to no surprise to me that he’d stayed, nor that Alexa was my nurse.
I narrowed my eyes at the woman that was standing in the door, and she narrowed them right back at me.
I closed my eyes to block out the woman’s snooty face, and started to slip into sleep when Dean’s voice broke into my calming thoughts.
“She’ll come home with me,” Dean was saying to the doctor. “Her brother’s on a case and can’t come, but I’m free. Already asked for time off, too. Done deal.”
I was shaking my head in the negative, but the doctor was already speaking over my denials.
“Great.” He said. “Alexa, please get her discharge papers in order. She’ll be going home with PD.”
I sighed and closed my eyes once again, this time in defeat.
“Dammit.”
“What was that?” Dean asked, leaning over me so his ear was close to my mouth.
“Dammit,” I repeated.
“Oh,” he snorted. “That’s what I thought you said.”
Thirty minutes later, Alexa was wheeling me out to the exit with Dean at my side.
I was wearing a pair of blue hospital scrubs and my tank top, but I was upright and aware of what was going on around me.
Expecially the tenseness of the two at my back.
“Don’t forget to let me know how your date goes,” Dean said as he opened the door to his truck.
“I won’t,” Alexa sighed. “Do you want me to stop by tomorrow night for pizza?”
“No.” Dean shook his head. “July and I’ll be having a night in, but thank you.”
I wanted to laugh at the look on Alexa’s face that I saw in the reflection of Dean’s shiny red truck, but refrained.
Barely.
When he opened the truck door wide and leaned in for me, I put my hands up to stop him.
“Let me try to stand,” I insisted.
He ignored me and lifted me like a rag doll, placing me in the front seat and going as far as to strap my belt on as well.
“Thanks, daddy,” I muttered darkly.
Except his eyes flared in delight.
“We never played that game,” he said softly, his eyes close to mine. “But we can once you’re back in fighting shape.”
I was shaking my head in denial before he’d even finished.
“Negative,” I said. “You’ve already broken me once. If you do it again it’s because I’m the dumbass that let you.”
He smiled.
“We’ve got a lot to talk about,” he suggested.
I shook my head again.
“No, we don’t,” I disagreed. “You said enough a year ago when you stabbed my heart with your words.”
His eyes softened.
“Maybe,” he said. “But you stabbed mine right back by refusing to fight for me.”
I’m a married mother of three. My kids are all under 5, so I can assure you that they are a handful. I’ve been with my paramedic husband now for ten years, and we’ve produced three offspring that are nothing like us. I live in the greatest state in the world, Texas.

Title: Dragons Need Love, Too
Series: The Dragon Series #2

Nikolai Vassago has a plan.
His day starts out fairly normal. Get up, kick some ass, fondle his beard, take some names.

One second he’s participating in a normal every day mission, and the next he’s saving the one woman that fate has promised him for the rest of his life from the grips of a criminal mastermind.

Nikolai can’t say he’s altogether displeased with what he’s given, though. Not with that gorgeous brunette that would soon be warming his bed.

The same can’t be said for Brooklyn.

Living in a commune most of her life meant she wasn’t exposed to all of life’s craziness. The moment she turned eighteen, she was off and running, experiencing all of what life had to give.

That means she sometimes jumps in feet first, not thinking about consequences until the deed is already done.

Nikolai rescues her from a fate worse than hell, throwing her on the back of his dragon and flying off into the night.

He’s a go-with-the-flow kind of man. Brooklyn, however, is not.

Having been caged for the first eighteen years of her life, she wants nothing more than to be free to do what she pleases, consequences be damned.

Nikolai, however, has different ideas, and he’s not above using his masculine will to prove to her that she’s exactly where she needs to be.
Title: Oh, My Dragon
Series: The Dragon Series #3
Release Date: TBD
I Like Big Dragons and I Cannot Lie (The Dragon Series #1)
I walked out of the restaurant where I worked and hurried quickly to my apartment, thanking God that I was so close. I didn’t think my legs could take much more.

My knees were killing me after being on my feet for the past eight hours straight. Not a single break in the whole time I was on shift.

Thanks, Macy, for not showing up for your shift and making me work both yours and my sections. It was f****g awesome, I thought sourly.

I entered the building, forgoing the mail seeing as, if I stopped, I wasn’t sure my legs would hold me up anymore.

I took the one flight of stairs up to my apartment, and had nearly reached my door when a large man came barreling out of the apartment next to mine.

He was a huge man.

Big, with beautiful brown hair, a strong jaw, and gorgeous brown eyes. Eyes that actually leaned more towards gold rather than brown.

His eyes flicked up to me and away, just as fast, instead focusing on the man he was dragging out of the apartment with him, kicking and screaming.

A nearly naked man.

I flattened myself against the wall, but the shoulders of the large man in his impeccable business suit still brushed my collarbone in the narrow hallway.

His bare hand brushed the exposed skin of my legs where my shorts ranged on the too-short side of short.

An electric jolt surged through me, making my back straighten, and my eyes to fasten onto his as he passed.

His eyes were just as wide, and looking at me like I’d just grabbed his testicles in a one handed grip… which I most certainly did not.

Not that it wasn’t tempting, but I didn’t think I could work up the energy to have sex with the handsome man, even if my body did yearn for his.

I started walking away on wobbly legs just as he passed me, ignoring the man he was dragging completely.

I’d seen the two before, of course.

The apartment he’d come out of was Macy’s. And the man he was dragging was Farrow, her boyfriend. He’d probably been the reason that Macy hadn’t come into work today, the big bastard.

The other man I didn’t know the name of appeared to be related to Macy’s boyfriend. Same hair, same features.

Although, now I knew his touch set my vagina on fire, and I needed to avoid him at all costs.

Something I could easily do since it was more than obvious he’d never stoop down to my level. Slumming didn’t even look like it was a word in that man’s vocabulary.

As I got my door open, though, I looked over my shoulder to see the man’s eyes on mine.

He was staring at me intently.

I didn’t touch your balls, why are you staring at me like I did something inappropriate? I wondered.

His smile widened, almost as if he’d heard my thoughts.

My eyes narrowed on him, and he began to laugh as he started to pull his brother down the flight of stairs by his hair.

Farrow straightened up and went willingly, walking, because he didn’t want to be drug down them, I’d guessed.

The man didn’t look like the type to take no as an answer.
