Opinion
Each book is about 100 pages and follow a very similar format.

Bear gets whiff of mate and goes crazy to find her.
Predictably when he shifts back to human form, he’s naked but definitely unafraid.

Instalove is not my favorite because it takes away the romance. Shifter insta-love is supposed to remove the doubt that there will be a HFA.

There is no falling in love with the person for who they are. Its SNAP! You are in love because the universe said so. No matter that you just met. The characters do not know each other but “lets bone!” and “I love you forever”.

There was some age difference between most couples. The heroines were between 18-24 and the heroes were around 30 years old.

In the last book, Austin is 52 and Ellie is 18. I refused to read that book. I don’t care how much of a silver fox he is! I wanted to say, “Find a woman your own age Austin! Your soulmate was NOT born after your daughter.” And why does she have to be a virgin but he obviously did not wait for his soulmate. At least in the other stories, they were each other’s firsts. That made the stories more tolerable.

TOW Final Word: Buy, Borrow, Pass?
BORROW. The series was full of instalove and ridiculous situations but if you like bear shifter romances, you will find it entertaining. It is available on Kindle Unlimited.

Synopsis
Brig is the CEO of a bodyguard company and also a bear shifter.
Lucky (Luciana) is a country music singer who has a hit song playing on the radio. She also has a stalker who has excluded his threats indicating possible violent. Brig’s company was called in to provide protection. Brig personally decided to be her bodyguard because he was infatuated with Lucky.

Opinion
This is one of those books that I think I read just to fill my time.
The premise of the story was OK, but I think something about it just fell flat for me. There was nothing about the characters that made them stand out.

I do not usually mind when the stories are INSTAlove, but maybe I was tired and wanted something with more substance.

Plus, the book was so SHORT! I did not realize when I got it that it was only 40 pages.

BORROW. The story was missing something but was okay if you want to pass some time and want to read something.

Synopsis
Shane is in the military and is discharged after he loses a foot. He needs a nurse to help him while he recuperates. He is also a bear shifter.

Alicia is the nurse who is helping him. She works as a home health nurse.

Opinion
First of all, the story was short.
It can be summed up as this: boy meets girl. Girl is a nurse and takes care of him. Boy fires girl so that he can date her. they live happily ever after.
There is a little bit more to the story than that summation, but that is pretty much it in a nutshell. because of that, there is not a lot to the story that is outstanding to me.
I thought the story was cute because of how Shane tried to win Alicia over. I did think that the story went too quickly. A lot was glossed over that I think could have helped develop the characters to the story.
Because Shane was a werebear, he had super fast healing. That was the only reason that him being a shifter added to the story. Other than that detail, this could have just been another interracial romance.

BORROW. The story was good but too short for me.
