Without further ado, here are my pictures on the theme.

Photo Blogging Challenge: Liquid #photoblog

The theme for October’s photo blogging challenge hosted by http://hoohaa.com/ was LIQUID. I tried to find cool, different pictures that fit the theme.

Without further ado, here are my pictures on the theme.

This is my friend’s fancy espresso and cappuccino machine. One Saturday we were all together and as everyone was drinking their coffee, I decided to spotlight the machine that made it all possible 🙂

After watching a video on Facebook, I made a face serum with the recipe that was featured in the video. The ingredient Blue Tansy gives it its vibrant color. I have been using it daily and my skin seems softer because of it. Plus, it was really easy to make.

1.5 oz rose hip oil & .5 oz jojoba oil

20 drops each essential oil Blue Tansy, Frankincense, Lavender, Sandalwood

I had to go on a business trip and stayed at a Embassy Suites. I love that they have complimentary drinks during their Happy Hour. I ordered a vodka cranberry so that I could get my Vitamin C.

Photo 4

My business trip destination was San Francisco. Of course, I had to get a picture of the San Francisco bridge. It is so peaceful to sit at the park at look out over the water. However, I could not stay long because it got chilly. That wind is something else!

At an art event that I attended, there was a potter spinning clay. It was mesmerizing to watch her mold the clay with her hands, adding drops of water at the right time. What started as a lump of clay became the vase you see in the picture. I am planning to take her class because I want to learn how to make pottery.

Photo blogging #challenge November 2018 #nomnomnom #photoblog #fun

The theme for November’s photo blogging challenge hosted by http://hoohaa.com/ was Nom Nom Nom. It seems like it has been forever since I participated in the photo challenge. I wanted to get back into doing this and when the theme is FOOD, I had to go through my pictures and share.

Without further ado, here are my pictures on the theme.

We went to Caye Caulker, Belize and made sure to eat plenty of lobster 🦞

Photo 2

The standard Belize meal is stewed chicken, rice and beans, and Cole slaw. When I don’t know what to order, it is my comfort food!!!

Photo 3

Pina coladas were my Nana’s favorite drink. As she got older, she would ask for them without the rum. I would tell the server to put the rum on the side 😂 .

Photo 4

The local beer in Belize is Belikin . Hubs drank that while I was drinking piña coladas.

Photo 5

When we were in Atlanta for a trade show, we went to an Irish pub. They had fried goat cheese and it was delicious!! It had a side of honey with jalapeños. It was sweet, salty, and spicy all at the same time.

These were just a few of the pictures that show how much delicious food I ate during the month.

TOW Opinion
If you use Young Living oils and want to get your essential oil collection organized, then you NEED these labels. I love mine.

I have been using oils for years, but I did not have the tops labeled in the beginning. Then I tried making my own labels using printable labels. These did not stay on very well for long. That is why I decided to buy these labels.

These were exactly what I needed.

I like they they have every possible oil and blend. They also give you a few labels for each oil/blend.

If you are just starting to collect essential oils, you will be doing yourself a favor by getting these.

If you have been using oils for years, you will wonder (like me) why you did not get some of these labels sooner.

Photo blogging #challenge August 2017 #summerFUN #photoblog

The theme for August photo blog and challenge hosted by http://hoohaa.com was Summer Fun. I have had a rough couple of months with the deterioration of my grandmother’s health and her ultimate demise in July. So, for August’s picture selections, the pictures are not as artistic as I have tried in the past. It was more about celebrating life while dealing with our family’s loss.

Hubs decided that we needed to go on a day road trip on Saturday to take our mind off things. We went down to Duluth GA and window shopped with no particular goal in mind. We ate lunch at a Korean/Chinese restaurant. I had Korean pork BBQ. My fave.

Photo 2

Since I was in the path of totality, I saw the eclipse. My picture during total eclipse was not that great because I needed a better camera lens. In any case, it was breathtaking to witness it in person. It was like nothing I have ever experienced. Well worth all the hype and more.

My baby Blaze got in a fight 😦 and needed to go to the vet for his injury. Thankfully, it was not that serious. He got an antibiotic shot and did not need any other meds. I should have named him Houdini because on the trip to the vet, he got out of his carrier. I do not know how since the door was closed.

Photo 4

This is my Young Living Orb diffuser in action. On my way to work, I started diffusing lemon and peppermint essential oil because it helps calm and balance my emotions. Grief can be something serious. I am glad that I have a natural options to help me to get a handle on releasing negative emotions without it consuming me.

One Friday evening, I went to Montague’s (local restaurant) to hear Rachel Davis sing and Kenny Price play the guitar. This duo is also part of a band called The Bonnie Situation. If you love 90s music and you live near Upstate SC, it will be worth your while to go hear them play. I particularly love to hear Rachel perform covers “You Oughta Know” (Alanis Morrisette) and “Free Your Mind” (En Vogue). She has a set of lungs on her to hit the notes like a pro. And Kenny did a good job too.

These were just a few of the pictures that show SUMMER FUN for me.
